Have you ever wondered what it’s like to own a chicken or just want to see one up close? Here’s your chance. On Monday, April 2 at 2:30 there will be a chicken visiting the library. You’ll have a chance to pet her, ask questions, and more. We will also have an art activity to enjoy. It’s fun for the whole family. Hope to see you there!

Round 2 of our March Madness Character Showdown begins today! We started with 16 characters and are now down to 9. Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark have the most supporters, but fans of Greg Heffley and Dobby the house elf are making themselves known. Keep your characters in the competition by logging your reading and homework. It’s easy! Round 2 ends next Thursday, March 22, so visit the library often to support your favorite characters.

Yesterday we had a tee shirt decoration in belated celebration of White T-Shirt Day (February 11) and in celebration of Leap Day. The kids brought their own t-shirts to decorate with paints, and it was so much fun that we’ve decided to do it again. So bring your old t-shirt in and decorate with us, next Friday, March 9 at 2:30.
