Are you a child or teen who loves to write? November is National Novel Writing Month and we are having a series of writing programs at the Highland Branch. Each Wednesday, starting November 2, we’ll have some writing activities for children and teens to do. At the end of the month we’ll collect them into a book and have a publishing party. We had a successful debut of our Monthly Art Show. Nine children and teens entered their interpretations of the autumn theme. Eva was the winner for her autumn collage. Drop in to see their beautiful pictures in person!
Next month we will be making a paper gratitude quilt . Drop by on Monday, November 21 or Monday November 28 to make a square using your favorite art materials and show the things for which you are grateful.
