VIP Passes

Do you like to visit museums or go to shows at Geva?  If so, the library has a new service you might be interested in.  You now can take out VIP passes from the library that get you discounts on admission to different Rochester area museums.  At the Highland Branch we offer a pass to the Rochester Museum and Science Center and a pass to the Genesee Country Village and Museum that gives you buy one get one free admission.  Some other libraries also have passes for the Memorial Art Gallery, George Eastman House, and Geva Theatre.  Check one out at your next visit!

 

Monday, September 26

This coming Monday is a great day to visit the library.  First for kids and families at 2:30, we’ll be honoring Banned Books Week by creating our own protest posters celebrating our freedom to read.  Then in the evening we have two programs for adults.  At 6:00 pm you can learn how to make a terrarium and at 7:00 pm you can join our book discussion group to discuss Year of Wonders: A Novel of the Plague by Geraldine Brooks.  Choose one or come to all three!
