Calling all Needleworkers!

Next Monday, February 7th our Needlework Group is meeting at 5:30 pm.  Bring your knitting, crocheting, quilting, or stitching and meet others from the neighborhood.

Attention Parents

Have a baby or child under 24 months?  Ever wonder what they are thinking, but have trouble deciphering the different cries?  Here is your chance to open lines of communication with your child.  Join us with your baby on Tuesday, February 1st, 8th, and 15th at 12:30 pm to learn baby sign language.  Linda Schmackpfeffer will use music, books, and playful activities to help babies and aults learn while having fun.  Registration required.

Book Discussion

Do you like to read and discuss books with others?  There’s still time to join our book discussion group before it meets again on Friday, February 11th at 11:30 am.  We are a group open to new people and different genres.

February’s book is Hot, Flat, and Crowded by Thomas L. Friedman.  Copies are available to check out at the circulation desk, so come in today to get yours.

New Year, New You!

Happy New Year!  Now that you’ve made your New Year’s resolutions, the library is here to help.  Come in today to check out our collection of self-improvement books to help make your goals a reality.  As always, our librarians are happy to help you find materials on any topic you need.
